On November 19, 2009, HealthQuest board members and staff along with the Union County Chamber of Commerce-Business After Hours celebrated an open house.  HealthQuest began in 1999 by community leaders and Carolinas Medical Center-Union to address the poverty stricken pharmaceutical needs to area residents.  HealthQuest has provided over 342,000 thousand prescriptions with a retail value exceeding $32.8 million since its beginning.
