You Can Help

Funding from individuals, corporations and foundations allows HealthQuest to continue to grow and to serve our growing community.

You can help HealthQuest provide prescriptions to eligible individual in Union, Anson and Chesterfield counties by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your contribution allows HealthQuest to purchase badly-needed medications for our clients. HealthQuest is able to leverage each $1 in contributions into almost $10 of medications.

HealthQuest relies on its volunteers to make a difference in the lives of residents. Volunteer pharmacists distribute prescriptions and provide counseling, and physicians donate their time to assist clients.

Our office also relies on volunteers to screen potential clients, collect donated prescriptions from physician offices, facilitate during distributions and to organize the hundreds of prescriptions received weekly from pharmaceutical companies. In addition, volunteers help HealthQuest during fund-raising campaigns and events.

Pharmacists Harry Lawrence and Bob Benston volunteer during weekly prescription distributions. Lawrence, pharmacist at Presbyterian Hospital, and Benston, pharmacist at Rite Aid Drugs, joined the non-profit in 1999. The two were honored as Friends of HealthQuest in 2005.
